Teen Two-Week Camp | Ages 14-17
Take Your Robotics Skills to the Next Level
Explore the world of engineering and VEX robotics by building your own robots from the ground up. Teams must adapt their robots to compete in user-piloted challenges and obstacle courses, as well as completely autonomous challenges programmed using ROBOTC, the premier coding language of robotics. The two-week immersive experience will end with a class-wide competition, preparing students to better compete in VEX Robotics competitions during the school year. Each student will be provided with an individual computer and will share robotics equipment.

More About This Course
Our Robotics courses teach kids the basics of electrical engineering and programming as they design and build robots. Autonomous Arduino Robotics: Take-Home Sparkfun Robot course immerses students in the basics of mechanical and electrical engineering as they design, build, test, and program their robot to complete various challenges. They’ll experiment with different types of circuits while learning how robots interpret inputs from sensors and commands from their human operators.
The Teen Experience: Since 2002, Digital Media Academy has been encouraging and inspiring teens to become the next generation of developers, animators, filmmakers, photographers, designers and engineers. In addition to developing teens’ interests and passions for the latest in new tech, our camps foster personal growth, confidence, and independence; preparing students for life beyond high school and college.
