Engineer Your Very Own Motorized Robot

Use your imagination and have fun creating Milo the science Rover! Students will use LEGO’s iPad app to program Milo and complete STEM challenges! Students will build a motorized Milo with motion and tilt sensors. Milo is the new Wall-E!

Students use programming to activate motors, lights, sounds, or displays, or to react to sounds, tilt, or movement to implement functionalities to their models or prototypes. You develop basic building skills while working on individual projects and taking part in hands-on demonstrations.

Our robotics courses teach students how to solve real-world problems using real engineering concepts. In Jr. Adventures in LEGO Robotics, students will learn about simple machines by building Milo and putting it to work! Students will be working in a positive teamwork setting and building relationships, while learning about engineering.

The Jr. Adventures Experience: Our Jr. Adventures program introduces our youngest campers, ages 6-8, to STEM fundamentals with the same project-based learning approach as our advanced learners. With Flex Pickup between 3-5 PM, you can create a camp experience that works best with your schedule and that allows your child to explore multiple topics over a summer!
