Jr. Adventures in LEGO Robotics

Kids One-Week Camp | Ages 7-9

Engineer Your Very Own Motorized Robot

Students taking this class will start the week learning about the differences between robots and machine, and the different parts that make up most machines (and robots). Later, they’ll discover the many applications we have for robots, the ways in which robots interact with and impact their environment, and how, despite their sophistication, even the most advanced androids are simply a bunch of gears and sensors following our programmed instructions.

Besides demystifying the robot, this course introduces kids to a wide variety of secondary topics including earthquakes, Mars exploration, bridge building, and locomotion.

More About This Course

Our robotics courses teach students how to solve real-world problems using real engineering concepts. In Jr. Adventures in LEGO Robotics, students will learn about simple machines by building Milo and putting it to work! Students will be working in a positive teamwork setting and building relationships, while learning about engineering.

The Adventures Experience: Our Jr. Adventures program introduces our youngest campers, ages 7-9, to STEM fundamentals with the same project-based learning approach as our advanced learners.
