Learn Robotics and Coding with LEGO

Learn the basics of robotics and coding with Lego. Students will build and program robots which will they will use to complete a series of challenges.

Students design, build and program robots using LEGO’s most accessible robotics technology – the powerful LEGO Boost Robot. LEGO Boost features an easy-to-use programming language that lets students immediately begin simple robotics programming and then advance into developing more complex algorithms.

Students work in pairs or individually to complete projects, program their robot, and develop custom robotics. This course focuses on the engineering design process, building, and programming using LEGO. Advanced extensions generally provide additional design, programming and building opportunities.

Receive up to 12 months of Adobe Creative Cloud by registering today ($600 Value). Students in this course will also receive a Take-Home LEGO Boost Robot.

About Robotics and Engineering Courses

Our Robotics courses teach students the basics of electrical engineering and programming as they design and build robots and laptops. Students will get to see firsthand how their code translates into actions that control their robot. After going through the Engineering Design Process, students will solve real-world problems to produce their own robot! All skill-sets are welcome, as Instructors and teaching assistants tailor the curriculum to students’ needs. Explore more robotics and engineering courses.

The Adventures Experience: Our Adventures camps give elementary level students, ages 9-12, a meaningful, hands-on introduction to the fundamentals of technology and design-thinking methodology; challenging them to collaborate with their fellow campers to create solutions to real-world problems.
