Data Science Basics

Adult One-Week Course  Ages 18+

Collect and Visualize Data

In order to better understand the world and make good decisions, it’s important to have the skills needed to find, organize, and visualize data. In this course, you’ll learn the basics of data science — starting with how to find and collect data using public sources, web APIs, and basic scraping techniques, and how to clean and organize it. Next, how to analyze the data to find correlations and meaning using the right tools. Finally, how to visualize the data so it can be easily communicated to others.
