Adventures in Coding & Artificial Intelligence

Students will create their own artificial intelligence through animations, stories, and games while learning to code using the Scratch programming environment. Developed by MIT, Scratch is an award-winning programming tool that requires no previous coding knowledge to use.

While getting comfortable with programming, students will use AI tools like Machine Learning to create smart programs with characters that can play games, react to comments, or recognize their voice. They’ll create their own version of the Hogwarts Sorting Hat, or a program that they can play cards with.

More About Adventures in Coding & Artificial Intelligence

Computer coding runs our devices and the world. Our Programming courses teach basic and advanced coding topics using the latest software and programming languages, such as Java. Our Adventures in Coding & Artificial Intelligence course will teach students the basics of computer programming, no previous experience required! You’ll master scratch and discover concepts such as functions, variables, loops and conditionals to create video games and animations.

The Adventures Experience: Our Adventures camps give elementary level students, ages 8-12, a meaningful, hands-on introduction to the fundamentals of technology and design-thinking methodology; challenging them to collaborate with their fellow campers to create solutions to real-world problems.

Computer programming code runs our devices and the world. Our Programming courses teach basic and advanced subjects using the latest software and programming languages, such as Java. The Adventures in Coding & Artificial Intelligence course will teach students the basics of computer programming, no previous experience required!
