Produce and Mix Your Own Music
Explore professional music production as you learn how to use the most important tools of the industry, like Ableton Live. Create and modify sounds while learning layering, mixing, and sampling. You’ll program your own beats while making your digital music.
Week 1, Intro to Music Production with Ableton: The course guides students in structuring a song, recreating sounds they hear, and building their own unique tracks. Topics covered include recording and audio sampling, advanced synth building, drum programming, improvisation, and an introduction to basic mixing and mastering.
Week 2, Music Production & Songwriting with Ableton: This course ensures students understand the process of music production, essential music theory, and how to compose music. Students will learn advanced music production and audio engineering techniques. By the end of the week, students will have composed and produced their own songs and will have applied advanced concepts of music production.
Receive up to 12 months of Adobe Creative Cloud by registering today ($600 Value). Students in this course will also recieve a Take-Home Akai MIDI Keyboard.

About Music Production Courses
Our Music Production camps equip students with the skills they will need to create exciting, unique compositions and pursue careers in the music industry as producers and artists. This Electronic Music Production Academy will teach students the fundamental skills needed to explore the increasingly popular world of digital music production. Students will dive deep into different electronic music genres and experiment with professional techniques, with guidance from expert instructors. This course is excellent for students interested in pursuing a career or educational path in Music Production. Do students make their own music or do they edit assigned songs?
Students create their own original music in a variety of styles and then choose their own style for composing their final track.
Camp Overview + Schedule
Take a look at your camp schedule, learn more about tuition and explore add-ons.
At the end of each week, attendees can invite their family and friends to join us for a showcase celebration to share their final projects. Learn more about the fun and exciting activities your child experienced during the week and have an opportunity to meet your child’s instructor. Presentations vary by course topic and instructors will highlight some of the important concepts covered during the week and possible next steps to continue your child’s learning. Arrive early as showcase begins at 3:00 pm and is typically finished by 4:00 pm.
Get the most out of your summer with Digital Media Academy when you add any or all of the following:
Make things easy and get lunch on campus so you don’t have to pack your own. Lunch Plans start at $95/week at select locations.
Stay in the dorms and eat on-campus, Sunday through Friday. Overnight Housing starts at $695/week where available.
Our flexible Extended Day option allows families to pick-up students as late as 6:00 PM from Monday to Thursday at all locations.
Add Weekend Stay and enjoy extra activities and day trips around the area. Weekend Stay starts at $380/weekend at select locations.
