Explore professional music production as you learn how to use two of the most important tools of the industry – Logic Pro X℠ and Ableton® Live 9. Create and modify sounds, and learn layering, mixing and sampling. You’ll even program your own drum beats while making digital music. Find this camp near you >>

Week One: Learn electronic music production concepts, including composition, sound design, and sampling using Ableton Live. Experiment with layering, mixing, professional techniques to craft booming bass lines and beat drops while learning about different types of sounds used in EDM, like House, Trap, and Dubstep.

Week Two:  Edit and mix digital music using both Logic Pro X and Ableton. You’ll learn to use industry-standard plug-ins to finalize and polish your own tracks while exploring tools such as equalization, panning, time & space effects, and automation.

Music Production

Our Music Production camps equip students with the skills they will need to create exciting, unique compositions and pursue careers in the music industry as producers and artists. This Electronic Music Production Academy will teach students the fundamental skills needed to explore the increasingly popular world of digital music production. Students will dive deep into different electronic music genres and experiment with professional techniques, with guidance from experienced instructors.This course is excellent for students interested in pursing an academic or career path in Music Production, and students will take home a portfolio that can even be used in college and internship applications.

The Academy Experience

Our Academies are pairings of two complementary courses, designed to accelerate student proficiency and knowledge in each of our course categories. From week one to week two, students take a deeper dive into the topic, expanding upon their new skills and creating more advanced projects and portfolios.
