Teen Two-Week Studio | Ages 14-17

Record Your Tracks in a Studio Environment

This two-week intensive experience is designed to give students a real-world look at how a professional music studio functions and what it means to be a professional audio engineer and producer. Through the course, the students will work together and individually to accomplish tasks and projects given to them by clients.

Using a mixture of real instruments and audio software such as Ableton Live, students will create their own tracks, produce, mix, and master songs and audio for clients, such as a singer-songwriter or video game developer. By the end of the course, students will be well-versed in different industry roles and resources, as well as have a portfolio of work that they will learn how to present in a professional manner, including the skills to self-promote, run a successful marketing campaign, and publicize their work.
