Music Production

Our Music Production camps equip students with the skills to create exciting, unique compositions and pursue careers in the music industry as producers and artists. This Logic Pro X & Ableton course teaches students the techniques of professional producers as they finalize their compositions and apply equalization, panning, time & space effects, and automation to their tracks. You’ll use your very own tracks or pre-made sessions to explore industry-standard plug-ins and leave the week with a polished composition ready for Soundcloud.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between this course and the Ableton™ production course?

Both Ableton® and Logic® Pro are used to create beats and electronic music. However, Ableton® is also used to for DJ’ing, while Logic® Pro is used primarily for recording and remixing. Logic® Pro is more of a general-purpose tool for musicians, and also more popular with Hip Hop music recording, which features vocals. By contrast, Ableton® is the digital audio workstation (DAW) of choice for the EDM (electronic dance music) community.
