Mix and Master Your Own Tracks

At the beginning of the week, students will work with a finished session of their choice (one of theirs, or from a small selection provided!) and explore the steps and tools used in Audio Mixing. Techniques such as Equalization, Panning, Time & Space Effects, and Automation will be applied.

By the end of the course, students will have created a polished, finished composition to share with their family & friends

More About This Course

Our Music Production camps equip students with the skills to create exciting, unique compositions and pursue careers in the music industry as producers and artists. This Ableton course teaches students the techniques of professional producers as they finalize their compositions and apply equalization, panning, time & space effects, and automation to their tracks. You’ll use your very own tracks or pre-made sessions to explore industry-standard plug-ins and leave the week with a polished composition ready for Soundcloud.

The Teen Experience: Since 2002, DMA has been encouraging and inspiring teens to become the next generation of developers, animators, filmmakers, photographers, designers, and engineers. In addition to developing teens’ interests and passions for the latest in new tech, our camps foster personal growth, confidence, and independence; preparing students for life beyond high school and college.

Friday Showcase

At the end of each week, attendees can invite their family and friends to join us for a showcase celebration to share their final projects. Learn more about the fun and exciting activities your child experienced during the week and have an opportunity to meet your child’s instructor. Presentations vary by course topic and instructors will highlight some of the important concepts covered during the week and possible next steps to continue your child’s learning. Arrive early as showcase begins at 3:00 and is typically finished by 4:00.

Camp Upgrades

Get the most out of your summer with Digital Media Academy when you add any or all of the following:

Lunch Plan

Make things easy and get lunch on campus so you don’t have to pack your own. Lunch Plans start at $68/week at select locations.

Overnight Housing

Stay in the dorms and eat on-campus, Sunday through Friday. Overnight Housing starts at $675/week where available.

Extended Day

Our flexible Extended Day option allows families to pick-up students as late as 6:00 PM from Monday to Thursday at all locations.

Weekend Stay

Add Weekend Stay and enjoy extra activities and day trips around the area. Weekend Stay starts at $405/weekend at select locations.
