DMA Studios: Game Development

Teen Two-Week Camp  Ages 14+

Develop a Game with a Studio of Peers

This is the closest you can get to working in a real game studio. In this course, you’ll be led through the entire game development process by a professional game developer. Using the Unity game engine, work with your classmates to make a whole game from start to finish based on a potential client’s expectations. Whether the game works in AR, VR, Mobile, or PC, you and your team will have to decide the best way to solve the problems at hand and present your work. While you’re creating, you’ll learn skills like programming in C#, level design, playtesting, sound design, and acquiring and manipulating 3D and 2D assets. As you learn, students will fall into roles and teams to focus on aspect of the game that can be brought together into a completed game.
