Professional Level Filmmaking
For students interested in a career in the film industry, this DMA Studios course will give them a realistic experience that most people don’t have the opportunity to have until their third year as a film major in college or during an internship. Students have two weeks to work as a team to produce a high-quality film meeting the specs set by a real-world client. DMA Studios allows students to work with professional actors, shoot on location, and experience working as a part of a full production company.
Real World Experience
In 2016, DMA Studios worked with Zoo Labs, a non-profit music accelerator based in Oakland, CA, to create a commercial. Watch the behind the scenes video to the left to get a feel for the DMA Studios experience.
The 2017 DMA Studios Client will be announced in the spring.
