Become a Content Creator and Grow Your Audience

At the beginning of the week, students will learn how to utilize fundamental Twitch and YouTube features and create content around their specific passion or interest. At the end of the week, students will have created their YouTube and Twitch channels from scratch, learned how to configure their live stream and engage a live audience on Twitch, and how to create engaging content for YouTube.

Course Information

Get ready for a fun and meaningful camp experience through project-based learning

What Students Learn

  • How to find your identity as a content creator
  • Adobe Photoshop Fundamentals
  • Configuring live streaming settings and software
  • How to install and utilize common live streaming tools
  • Planning, filming, editing, and uploading videos to YouTube
  • How to follow content creator best practice to maximize viewer engagement

What Students Create

  • YouTube and Twitch channels from scratch
  • Content creator logo and channel art
  • Introduction video for their content
  • Well presented live stream configuration
  • Final project utilizing the skills from this course to create a video pertaining to their interests

What Students Learn

Our filmmaking courses allow teens to team up with like-minded peers to express their own voice and creativity through the film. Students will work with top of the line equipment while learning to develop a story, write a script, shoot unique shots and edit their film all to create a movie of their own. By the end of the week, students will have films ready for YouTube, resumes, family and friends!

Friday Showcase

At the end of each week, attendees can invite their family and friends to join us for a showcase celebration to share their final projects. Learn more about the fun and exciting activities your child experienced during the week and have an opportunity to meet your child’s instructor. Presentations vary by course topic and instructors will highlight some of the important concepts covered during the week and possible next steps to continue your child’s learning. Arrive early as showcase begins at 3:00 and is typically finished by 4:00.

Camp Upgrades

Get the most out of your summer with DMA when you add any or all of the following:

Lunch Plan

Get lunch on campus so you don’t have to pack your own. Lunch Plans start at $75/week at select locations.

Overnight Housing

Stay in the dorms and eat on-campus, Sunday through Friday. Overnight Housing is $695/week where available.

Weekend Stay

Add Weekend Stay and enjoy extra activities and day trips around the area. Weekend Stay is $395/weekend at select locations.

DMA Online

Start learning now and get ready for camp when you register for an online course! DMA Online is $95 per course.
