Learn the engineering design process as you explore Adobe Illustrator and jump into the world of wearable technology. Discover how to combine hands-on design and crafting techniques with circuits, electronics, and Arduino™ to create personalized accessories using your new skills in design and engineering.

• An accessory of wearable tech to bring home, as well as a digital portfolio of customized clothing.
More About This Course
This Adventures course introduces girls to a wide variety of tech and design concepts from programming and circuitry to 3D modeling and design. Infused with design-thinking methodology, our curriculum introduces these younger students to many of the same concepts as our more advanced learners as they work collaboratively to design, prototype, and refine their projects.
The Made By Girls Experience: DMA’s Made By Girls program offers a unique learning experience designed to introduce girls to STEM learning in a collaborative and supportive environment. MBG is powered by a dynamic group of role models including educators, industry leaders, and creators, who inspire our students to build both 21st century skills and confidence.
