We just wanted to give you a taste of one of the fringe benefits of attending Digital Media Academy summer tech camps at the University of California, San Diego.
Our students, whether kids (ages 6-12) or teens (12-17), love getting some quality break time, when they’re not studying the coolest tech subjects around, like app development, robotics, Virtual Reality and even Wearable Tech.
And when our UCSD campers enjoy recreation breaks, they’re right on the doorstep of the beautiful Pacific Ocean. That means outstanding outdoors fun on the beach. Maybe some beach volleyball. Tossing a Frisbee. Or they can enjoy it each day, by taking part in our super-cool surfing camps.
This all happens on one of the world’s great beaches: La Jolla (le-hoya). La Jolla’s so legendary among surfers that it even turned up in The Beach Boys’ ultimate surfing anthem, “Surfin’ U.S.A.”:
All over La Jolla
And Waimea Bay
Everybody’s gone surfin’
Come see all the great, cutting-edge subjects you can discover at our tech camps at UCSD:

We loved our summer at UCSD and thank our university hosts, as well as our great students and their parents.
This was DMA’s greatest summer yet and we encourage you to join us next summer at UCSD or at any one of DMA’s nearby summer tech camp locations across Canada and the U.S.
See you on the beach, dude!
