We have a special place in our hearts for Stanford University. Maybe we feel that way because Stanford is where Digital Media Academy was founded in 2002 by DMA president Phil Gibson.
Or perhaps it’s because it remains our flagship location. Or maybe it’s because Stanford is now regarded as the most progressive university in the nation – and often the finest.
Welcome to DMA! While Adventures campers line up everywhere, one camper drops and gives us 20.
This year, kids (ages 6-12) and teens (12-17) came from all over California and beyond to soak up the Stanford atmosphere and take advantage of great instruction in the most advanced tech topics going.
Here’s what July 2015 looked like around DMA’s tech camps at Stanford:
GIRLS GETTIN’ IT DONE
At DMA tech camps, you’ll find plenty of other girls there who also want to explore cool tech subjects.

UNDER STANFORD’S FAMOUS PALM TREES
Taking a break from class to check messages and hang out with new friends.
GAZING INTO THE FUTURE
Asleep at his desk? No, this student is checking out cool, cutting-edge Oculus Rift VR technology.
STANFORD NEVER CEASES TO AMAZE!
As always, we loved our summer at Stanford University and thank our university hosts, as well as our great students and their parents.
This was DMA’s greatest summer yet and we encourage you to join us next summer at Stanford or at any one of DMA’s nearby summer tech camp locations across the U.S. or Canada.
The most rewarding camps at the most progressive universities. At DMA, we wouldn’t think of presenting anything less.
