It may be August but summer’s still in full swing at Digital Media Academy’s tech camps at the University of California, San Diego.
Right now, DMA campers are exploring cutting-edge subjects on the UCSD campus, eating in the same dining hall as college students and campers 12 and older are even staying overnight in dorms.
Digital Media Academy selected UCSD not only because of its strong reputation as a liberal arts college, but also because of its scenic seaside location along the Pacific Coast.
Surf and Science
UCSD visitors can study all kinds of marine life at the Birch Aquarium, check in at Price Center (the main student center), go shopping at the La Jolla Cove, peruse the stacks at the distinctive Geisel Library (named after Dr. Seuss!), or watch surfers catching a wave at any of the nearby beaches.
DMA campers are having the time of their lives in sunny San Diego, while gaining STEM-based skills that can lead them to rewarding careers. And there’s still another week of summer-camp fun and discovery at DMA’s tech camps at UCSD, which run through August 16. There’s still time to register, attend and have the greatest summer of your life.
