It’s officially summer. And summer means summer camp.
More specifically, tech summer camp at Stanford and Harvard University. This week campers arrived in Stanford (California) and Cambridge (Massachusetts) to start exploring cutting-edge technology.
Everything from animation and game design to music production, robotics and app development. Kids and Teens are having the time of their life—and learning technology skills like Java programming.
Hot Tech = Cool Summer
Kids in DMA’s Stanford Jr. Adventures in Acting & Filmmaking camp are jumping in with both feet, using the power of their imaginations to transform themselves into caped crusaders. Meanwhile, behind the camera, future Spielbergs are shooting their first superhero films. And it’s all happening this summer at DMA Stanford.
A Tale of Two Coasts
Although separated by thousands of miles, the two tech camp programs have a lot in common. For starters, each university is considered the finest on that coast—with Stanford leading West Coast schools just as Harvard dominates higher education on the East Coast. Another similarity: Each school is known for its cool campus location.
Stanford and Harvard join UC Irvine and other launch locations as DMA opens its summer camp programs across the US and Canada.
Of course, each program reflects why Digital Media Academy is considered the leader in summer tech camps. DMA’s courses engage kids of all ages with hands-on experience—and with instructors who are technology educators or industry professionals with expertise in their fields (and are pros at working with kids and teens).
Check out all the cool things that make DMA the WORLD’S BEST TECH CAMP!
- Campers don’t share computers! Each student gets their own workstation to use throughout the week.
- State of the art technology! DMA uses Apple computers and Canon cameras.
- Ever play a video game with your brain? How about building a robot from electronic parts? Our classes are filled with cool, gotta-have-it technology.
- DMA was founded at Stanford by Stanford tech experts.
- F.U.N. A summer at DMA is like nothing else! And it includes, games, challenges and personal growth.
Did you also know that DMA uses the latest versions of today’s top development software and applications? It’s true. And all camps are project-based, so campers return home with their finished project—to show family and friends.
Teen campers get not only great experience, but real-world skills and a completed project they can use with a college application.
Summer’s here, but there’s still time to register for camp—on either coast.
