Teens: Digital Audio & Music Production for Teens

Make beats and get in the groove.

Regardless of your musical preferences this class will engage your interests and abilities in music production. This course introduces music production in a fast-paced immersive approach. Cover the technical fundamentals of recording and editing digital audio while exploring the concepts of songwriting and arrangement.

In-class projects illustrate the steps in a professional audio workflow including: songwriting, recording, editing, mixing, and mastering. You’ll get a sense of how to work with a variety of techniques to produce outstanding digital audio under the supervision of an industry pro who will help you bring your audio ideas to life. In addition, you’ll get your hands on the latest digital audio production equipment and musical instruments.
