Learn digital filmmaking from the experts
This teen film camp brings everything taught in a university film production school into a fast-paced immersive class. We’ll cover the technical fundamentals of shooting and editing digital video while introducing you to the concepts of cinematic form and structure. Classes will include demonstrations, screenings, discussions and critiques of student work. In-class exercises will illustrate the formal qualities of image-making, the grammar of the moving image, and sound production issues.
Students will experience every stage of production, from planning and writing through shooting, editing and output. You’ll get a sense of how to work with a variety of techniques to produce an outstanding digital film, under the supervision of an industry pro who will help you see the bigger picture. In addition, you’ll get your hands on some very cool projects, and have fun collaborating with your peers. This is a great opportunity to see what’s possible and how it feels to make digital films.
