Teens: 3D Video Game Creation: Character Design, Texturing & Sculpting with Maya

Create your own 3D character to take home, share and play online

In this fantastic 3D video game class, you’ll learn how to create your own custom game character and load it into the Unreal Engine game environment. Students continuing from Game Creation Level Design will have the opportunity to match their character to their level environment, or create a completely new concept. You’ll use cutting-edge Maya software to model, texture, and rig the character.

Using Zbrush, you will learn sculpting concepts and techniques that will give your character the detail and polish seen in many of today’s top games on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. By the course’s end, you’ll have a completed game mod and a whole new view of the gaming experience.
