About University of California, Los Angeles
Generally known as UCLA, the University of California, Los Angeles is ranked 25th among US colleges. The campus includes 163 buildings across 419 acres in the western part of Los Angeles, north of the Westwood shopping district and just south of Sunset Boulevard.
The campus includes sculpture gardens, fountains, museums, and a mix of architectural styles. Students have access to a variety of activities when not attending class. The campus’ location in Los Angeles makes excursions to local museums, theaters, or other entertainment venues relatively quick and easy.
