Teen Summer Camps at Brown University
Summer Camps & Computer Training for TeensYour teen will actually look forward to writing that “What I Did for Summer Vacation” essay after attending a Digital Media Academy summer camp at Brown in 2010. With camps in digital filmmaking, game creation and level and character design with Maya, teens will enjoy a perfect combination of summer fun and learning through this pre-college experience. Teens who are serious gamers or filmmakers can enroll in one of the two-week academy programs, which will give them a chance to learn state-of-the-art techniques on industry-standard tools. Camps Offered at Brown:About Brown UniversityBrown University, founded in 1764, is the seventh oldest institution of higher education in the United States. Located in Providence, Rhode Island, Brown University is an eminently esteemed private university and has been ranked second by Princeton Review for having the “happiest students” among American Colleges. Nicknamed the “Renaissance City,” Providence allows visitors and students to indulge their senses while expanding their minds. This unique New England city is home to a diverse population and boasts unique architecture. The city also has ample shopping, dining and entertainment on the vibrant Thayer Street.
