Kids’ Summer Camps & Computer Courses: The Experience
Balanced ExperienceAt Digital Media Adventures, we strike a balance between in-class learning and out-of-doors fun. We recognize that kids need to move! Breaks for recreation are built in throughout the day. Our warm, positive atmosphere fosters friendship and team building. We want our campers to leave feeling included and inspired, part of a larger community. DMA Spells F-U-NWith group sports, board games and chess, Capture the Flag, scavenger hunts and a healthy dose of summer splashing, there’s something for everyone. Recreation includes soccer, swimming, ultimate Frisbee, volleyball, basketball, nature hikes, Frisbee golf, video gaming tournaments, board games and exploring the beautiful campus. Evening activities include movie nights, board game extravaganzas, and video gaming tournaments. There will also be additional computer lab time available for overnight campers. For campers staying multiple weeks, weekends are packed with organized activities such as bowling, miniature golf, professional baseball games, trips to Great America amusement park, Lazer Tag®, video arcades and more. Weekend activities vary depending on the interests of weekend campers. Our Digital Media Adventurers will also have the opportunity to visit DMA’s Summer Camp for Teens, to get inspired by the projects that our older students are creating. Gaining Real World ExperienceAt DMA, kids get a leg up in the fast-paced world of technology. They are building computer skills that have real-world application. Kids are not just learning about video game design or 3D animation, they are learning from actual video game designers and 3D animators. By learning from professionals who actually do what they teach, kids develop a strong sense of learning put into practice. They are inspired to reach their full potential, in an atmosphere where learning is interchangeable with fun. Building ConfidenceAt DMA, kids arrive as campers and emerge as designers. It’s amazing how much kids learn in one week — and how good they feel about what they’ve made. Whether your kid is an avid digital media enthusiast or brand-new to the field, there’s nothing so satisfying as seeing his or her own project take shape. At Digital Media Adventures, you’ll find your child’s imagination stretched. They’ll leave excited about learning and hungry for more. Questions? Call 1-866-656-3342 or email us. |
