Kids & Teens: The Digital Media Academy Difference
| The Digital Media Academy (DMA) is a nationally-recognized organization offering hands-on learning experiences in a broad range of digital media technologies.
DMA’s Teen camps (ages 13-18) provide a more sophisticated summer computer camp experience compared to other teen camps. Digital Media Academy is more professional, more fun, more challenging, and more rewarding. Our summer camp instructors are highly qualified professionals with a passion for working with teens. We use only high-end computers (one per attendee) and the same software used at companies such as Lucas Films, Pixar and Electronic Arts. Learn more about the DMA Experience for Teens. DMA’s Pre-Teen camps (ages 11-14) offer the perfect mix of digital media projects, summer fun, and great friendships. In a challenging yet supportive atmosphere, our pre-teens get to explore their interests, have fun with other kids, and create a project that is uniquely theirs. Pre-teens learn how their favorite games, favorite special effects, or favorite media are created — and then they learn how to do it themselves. Digital Media Academy gives pre-teens a head start as they get ready to develop their interests further. Learn more about the DMA Experience for Pre-Teens. DMA’s program for kids, Digital Media Adventures, provides a unique experience for kids ages 6-12. Our Adventures program provides a balance of project-based learning with outdoor team-building fun. Adventures instructors are not college students, but teachers with proven experience in inspiring creativity in young minds. Learn more about our Digital Media Adventures program. In addition to its summer programs, DMA provides on-site training to schools and companies and offers workshops throughout the year at its training facility in Campbell, CA.
