Learn to Make Music Videos

Create a music video while learning the concepts and structure of digital storytelling. Direct, shoot, and edit your video during this fast-paced engaging format that will allow you to bring your music to life through video. Screenings, demonstrations, discussions and analysis of student work will allow you to learn from others as you craft your video. From pre-production and planning, to post-production and distribution to YouTube, all aspects of music video production and digital storytelling are covered.

What You’ll Learn: Music Video Production

• Shooting with HD cameras & professional tripods
• Various stages of music video production including, scriptwriting & storyboarding techniques
• Camera techniques with natural light & reflectors
• Basic music video editing & techniques using Final Cut Pro®
• Outputting video for web, YouTube, mobile devices and DVD

Course may vary slightly based on student expertise & class interest. All students work on their own personal projects, which they keep.
