Summer Skateboarding Action Sports Filmmaking Camp

Do you wish your parents would send you to skate camp to train with a pro? If you’re interested in skateboarding and filmmaking, this is a program that combines just that – skateboarding with action sports filmmaking.

This summer skateboarding camp experience is unique in that it will sharpen your skateboarding skills under the supervision of an expert while you also learn how to film the action and edit the footage like a pro to create great skateboarding videos. Students supply their own skateboard while DMA provides world-class instruction.

What You’ll Learn: Skateboarding and Filmmaking

• Professional action sports filmmaking techniques
• Action sports cinematography
• Professional skateboarding instruction, advice, tips, tricks & techniques
• Spend three days visiting local skateparks with plenty of time outdoors
• How to compress & export video for web, YouTube, mobile devices and DVD

Who Should Attend: Skateboarding and Filmmaking
Ages 13-17 | Beginner- Advanced | No Skateboarding or Filmmaking Experience Required

You know how to balance yourself on a skateboard deck (or you may be new to the sport), but you want to sharpen your skateboarding skills under the watchful eye of a seasoned pro. You want to learn new tricks and how to pull them off.

You’re also interested in becoming a filmmaker and how to capture the action on video to share with your family & friends. This is a camp that combines skateboarding and filmmaking in an entertaining way. Learn how to shred the half-pipe, while capturing professional-quality video.

Participants are required to provide their own skateboard, helmet & pads.
