Teens: PlayStation 3® and Xbox 360® Game Dev with Unity©

Make Your Own Next Gen Console Game

Learn how to design and build a next-generation game for the Xbox 360® or PS3®. Using the powerful but approachable Unity® game engine, you’ll assemble 3D game assets (either created by you in DMA’s “Introduction to 3D Art and Modeling for Game Design” course or provided by the instructor) to create a playable first- or third-person game.

The Unity® development features are all covered by professional instructors: game sounds, lighting, baking, performance optimization, external animation utilization, animation creation and scripting. Using Xbox 360® and PS3® controllers, you’ll explore player interaction and game dynamics. At the end of this intensive week, you and your classmates will be able to share and play your game with each other—and you’ll have your first game built using the dynamic next-gen design tools of Unity®.
