Explore the process of making music, from soaring instrumentals to pumping bass lines. Learn to make and modify sounds – even program your own drum patterns – like the 808 kick.

In this dynamic summer camp course, you’ll cover the basic technical fundamentals of recording and editing, while learning the concepts of songwriting and arrangement. Produce outstanding digital audio with the assistance of a professional instructor with years of professional, real-world experience.

• How to create music of any genre, including hip-hop, dance, electronica and dubstep, or invent your own
• Techniques used by professionals in everyday production
• How to make music that sounds like your favorite artists
• To build bass lines and melodies
• Create or modify a sound
• How to “Autotune”

Course may vary slightly based on student expertise & class interest. All students work on their own personal projects, which they keep.
