Teens: Digital Filmmaking for Teens – Advanced

Advanced Cinematic Techniques for Aspiring Young Filmmakers

Take your filmmaking to the next level with this advanced teen filmmaking camp. Learn advanced movie-making—the same production and post-production techniques used on the sets of Hollywood movies. New for 2012! We’ve added new curriculum around screen writing and story development. Plus, explore advanced shooting techniques to expand your cinematic style.

Learn about different types of professional digital video and audio gear and how to use them. Experience what it’s like to produce complex special effects and motion graphics. While learning these techniques and tools, you’ll create your own film, which you can enter in student film festivals and include in your college portfolio. Finally, students screen their films in an independent-film-festival environment and take a home a DVD of their finished movie to show family and friends.
