Teens: Action Sports Filmmaking  

Learn how to Shoot and Edit Action Sports Videos like Professionals

Get in the action! It doesn’t matter if you’re new to digital video or an experienced videographer; this summer film camp is a great way to learn sports cinematography and editing techniques using different types of action sports footage.

Work with different kinds of extreme sports video – skateboarding, BMX and more depending on availability. Trips to local skate and BMX parks provide the field based shooting environment for incredible action sports footage. Edit the shot footage together to create your own extreme sports video. Upon completion of the program, you’ll have a DVD of your finished movie to take home and show family and friends.

Course may vary slightly based on student expertise & class interest. All students work on their own personal projects, which they keep.

Who Should Attend: Action Sports Filmmaking
Ages 13-17 | Beginner – Advanced | No Filmmaking Experience Required

This course is designed for aspiring action sports enthusiasts and filmmakers interested in learning techniques to take their action sport videos to the next level.

The week-long camp teaches a wide variety of shooting techniques for multiple skill levels. The experience is great for both beginners or more advanced filmmakers. You’ll get to personally capture the action over several days, during an action sports field trip.
