Teens: DMA Studios: 3D Game Production

Unreal© Engine 3 powers games like Gears of War™ and Batman Arkham Asylum™

Advanced Game Development Studio Experience

Be a part of a real game-design team. In the new DMA Studios: 3D Game Production course you and your fellow campers work in a team to create a game. Use industry-standard software like Autodesk® Maya®, Unity© and/or the Unreal Development Kit™ (UDK™) game engines to create games for multiple platforms including PC, console, web and smart-phone apps. Just like in a real game development studio, the DMA Studios: 3D Game Production team will decide what platform to design for, create the concept and design the game. The entire process is overseen and led by current and/or former video-game industry professionals.

The team is broken into project leads, with different groups focusing on 3D models while others design levels, characters, environments and other game assets. The individual parts are then brought together for a finished game. All students receive a copy of the game they helped develop.
