Teens:3D Game Creation: Level Design with the Unreal Engine™
Create Worlds as a Video Game Designer
Create exciting new video-game levels using the Unreal Development Kit™ (UDK™), the same software used by major studios to make games like Gears of War™, Borderlands™, and Batman: Arkham Asylum™. Be a part of the entire creation process—all the way from concept to a finished game level. By using Autodesk® Maya®, Photoshop® and the UDK™, you’ll learn industry-standard production techniques to produce quality game levels infused with your creativity.
Learn to plan levels, create them with 3D modeling, make your levels pop with texture mapping and build immersive virtual 3D environments! On the last day of the program, share your levels with other students and spend the day play-testing and analyzing your designs.

This course is designed for aspiring game designers and level creators who want to learn how to use the same award-winning software tools the pros use: the Unreal™ Development Kit (UDK™). With guidance from Digital Media Academy’s expert game industry professionals, you’ll develop custom maps and amazing environments while learning what makes a game challenging and playable.
The UDK™ is a comprehensive 3D game-development tool that is used to make some of today’s most popular video and computer games. If you’re a dedicated gamer who wants to become a game developer, this course will put you on a fast track to a career.
