Learn the same character-creation techniques that top game developers use. Create lifelike creature models using Autodesk® Maya®, Zbrush® or Mudbox®—the same tools used to create blockbuster games for the PC, PlayStation 3® and Xbox 360®, including titles like Bioshock™, Gears of Wars™ and Borderlands™. ™.
With professional instruction you’ll unlock the power of Autodesk® Maya®, learning how to build, paint and rig your creation to a skeleton. By the end of the week, show off your character model, pose it and capture your creation with an export to a DVD to share your character with friends and family. From bionic apes to alien anteaters, your creation is only limited by your imagination.

Who Should Attend: 3D Creature Creation for Game Design with Maya® Ages 13-17 | Beginner – Advanced | No Game Design or Programming Experience Required
This course is designed for aspiring game designers and character creators. If you’re fascinated by the computer-generated creatures in movies like Lord of the Rings & Harry Potter – or spend hours watching characters move through levels in Uncharted™ and Starcraft®, this course is for you.
Learn the techniques and tools used by professionals at game and movie studios to create characters. Autodesk® Maya®, is the industry standard, it’s used to develop 90% of all games and movies produced today. Experience 3D character design while learning from industry professionals from the game and movie industry.
Completion of “3D Art & Modeling for Game Design with Maya®” or basic Maya® skills preferred, but not required.
