3D Modeling and Animation Basics Taught by Professionals
Start your career in game design by learning the basics of 3D modeling, textures, lighting and rendering. Use the same tools and techniques as the industry’s top game makers (like Electronic Arts, Blizzard, ID Software and Epic Games) use to make blockbuster hits like Bioshock™ and World of Warcraft®.
Using Maya®, create your own virtual environment that’s ready to be used in a game engine. Create unique textures in Photoshop® to make your environment come alive. Industry techniques on pacing and visual impact optimize your game levels. On the final day, learn how to render dynamic screenshots of your environment and output them to a DVD to share with your family and friends.
