About The University of California, San Diego (UCSD)Digital Media Academy’s summer camps at UCSD offer the perfect blend of challenge and fun. Teens and pre-teens can combine their passion for skateboarding or surfing with filmmaking to produce – and star in – their own action film, while kids can explore their interests in music and video production, 3D game development, or digital art and photography. These computer camps offer something for every interest. Teens and youth will learn valuable skills, make new friends, and enjoy a pre-college experience by spending part of their summer with Digital Media Academy on the campus of one of America’s best universities. UCSD is located in La Jolla, California, where it is situated along 1,200 acres of beautiful coastal woodland. This Southern California campus is widely regarded as one of the top institutions in the US for higher education and research. In fact, UCSD was named the “hottest” institution in the nation for students to study science by Newsweek magazine. The campus boasts a rich array of educational learning opportunities and outdoor activities. In addition to taking advantage of the area’s outstanding weather, visitors can explore marine life at the Birch Aquarium, go shopping at the La Jolla Cove, or watch surfers catch a wave at any of the nearby beaches. |
