Learn the Basics of Filming and Editing in this Movie-making Experience

Ready to make your own movie? Learn the Hollywood shooting and editing techniques used by industry professionals. Make a professional-quality digital movie while learning the entire process.

Create your own story idea, then write a script. You’ll learn how to shoot and edit a movie at a the world’s #1 movie-making summer camp, and discover how to output your movie for the web, YouTube and DVD. Everyone in the class spends time as a director, camera operator and editor.

At the end of the week, students screen their movies in a film-festival environment and leave with the knowledge required to create a professional-looking movie.

• How to use a video camera; shooting and recording techniques

Course may vary slightly based on student expertise & class interest. All students work on their own personal projects, which they keep.

Who Should Attend: Adventures in Filmmaking & Special Effects
Ages 8-12 | Beginning – Advanced | No Previous Experience Required

This course is designed for aspiring young movie makers who are interested in learning more about the process of making movies or may someday want to work in the movie business. The week-long movie camp is also a great way to inspire creative young minds.

Movie-making is a craft that takes years to perfect, students and parents should set realistic expectations for the final movie.
