This course also includes outdoor recreation time and team building activities

Create your own Comic Book

Create your own drawings and then experience ways to modify and transform them on the computer using Comic Book Creator. Learn how to take photographs or other images and turn them into comics.

Add word balloons, captions and sounds to these photographs, mix in your drawings and watch your comic book come alive as you create a comic strip for the web or an interactive comic to share with family and friends. All student campers work on their own projects and take a copy of it home with them at the end of the week.

Who Should Attend: Adventures in Comic Creation
Ages 8-12 | Beginning to Advanced | No Art or Design Skills Required

Do you enjoy reading Marvel™ comics or Penny Arcade™? This course is designed for aspiring comic book and cartoon creators who want to tell a story in the comic-book format. Ideal for creative young minds who enjoy drawing and want to bring their art to life through animation. If you’re interested in learning how to become an animator or cartoonist from a professional artist, this course is for you.

This course also includes outdoor recreation time and team-building activities. The first half of this program is taught in conjunction with DMA’s “Adventures in Cartoon Creation” course.
