Learn How to Create a Cartoon like Professional Animators

Learn how animators at Cartoon Network™, Disney™ and Pixar™ create animated cartoons and movies. In this exciting program, you’ll learn all about cartoon animation. Create your own drawings and then learn to modify them using a computer with Toon Boom Animation Studio©.

Learn how to bring art to life with animation. Use animator time lines and key frames (just like the professionals at Pixar™ and Disney™) to create a cartoon, then add sound and special effects. At the end of the week, you’ll finish your short animated cartoon and take it home to share with family and friends.

Ages 8-12 | Beginner – Advanced | No Art or Design Skills Required

For kids who want to learn how to get started in animation. This course is designed for aspiring animators and cartoon creators who want to tell a story through the magic of cartoons. Ideal for creative young minds who enjoy drawing and want to bring their art to life through animation. If you’re interested in learning how to become an animator or cartoonist from a professional artist, this course is for you.

This course also includes outdoor recreation time and team-building activities. The first half of this program is taught in conjunction with DMA’s “Adventures in Comic Creation” course.
