DMA Instructor Wago Kreider

Wago Kreider is an award winning video artist and experimental filmmaker who lives and works in San Francisco. In addition to his work as a filmmaker, Wago currently teaches at Cal State Monterey Bay and has taught at the University of Pennsylvania and Rutgers University.

Exhibitions and screenings include Dallas Video Festival (2003); Videoformes Festival, Clermont-Ferrand, France (2003); Art in Motion Festival of Time-Based Media, USC, Los Angeles (2003); Institute of Contemporary Arts, London, UK (2002); Backup New Media in Film Festival, Bauhaus University, Weimar, Germany (2002); International Audiovisual Creation Competition of Navarre, Pamplona, Spain (2002); Visual Studies Workshop, Rochester (1996); Pacific Film Archive, Berkeley (1994); The Kitchen, New York (1991). Grants from Queens Council on the Arts, New York; Experimental Television Center, Owego; Hallwalls Contemporary Arts Center, Buffalo. Artist Fellowship from The Arts Council of Buffalo and Erie County. Artist-in-Residence at Harvestworks, New York (2003).
