DMA on the Sea Course Details

Digital Filmmaking and Photography with Photoshop & Final Cut Pro

This hands-on experience is designed for anyone who wants to learn how to capture high-quality photographs and video and then create a professional-quality project using Adobe Photoshop and Final Cut Pro. You will have numerous opportunities to capture photographs and video footage while enjoying beautiful port stops with family and new friends. In class, you will learn powerful image and video editing techniques using the latest versions of Adobe Photoshop and Final Cut Pro. By weeks end, you will have a video and library of photographs documenting your experience. If you are so inclined, you’ll even have the opportunity to take the Final Cut Pro Level 1 End User Certification exam. (Note: The Final Cut Pro content covered in this course closely resembles the following Pro-Series course: Final Cut Pro (100) – An Overview of Final Cut Pro)

NOTE: Students are required to bring a digital camera and video camera and Apple laptop computer capable of running the latest version of Final Cut Studio. Software will be provided by DMA if needed.
