Adventures in Comic Creation
Ages 9 - 13
Have you ever wanted to tell a story in a comic book format? Do you enjoy reading Marvel comics, Calvin and Hobbes, or The Adventures of Tintin? In this class, you will have an opportunity to create your own drawings and then explore ways to modify or distort your drawings on the computer. You will also learn how to take photographs or other images and transform them! You will then take these drawings and photographs and add bubbles, captions, and sounds to create a comic strip for the web or a comic book story that you can share with your family and friends!
The first half of this course will be taught in conjunction with Adventures in Cartoon Creation. This course also includes outdoor recreation time and team building activities.
