Final Cut Pro:
Learn how to make a music video this summer. At DMA's film camp you will learn the fundamental skills needed for making a great music video. You will start by pre-visualizing a song and planning its aesthetic style through the development of storyboards and shot lists. Then you will learn the secrets of production technique, including how to keep digital filmmaking in synchronization with music/lyrics, maintaining consistent pacing and rhythm, cool shooting strategies for covering live music performance, and the use of special visual effects.
Teens will gain the skills for shooting with high quality 3-chip digital camcorders with 24p “cinema-look” techniques. Professional portable lighting kits will be used so that your music video can look like it was shot by a pro. Finally, you will learn how to harness the power of Final Cut Pro to edit your digital film footage into an award-winning music video.
