Course Description
In this class, you’ll explore a broad range of tools and techniques essential to mastering Adobe After Effects. You’ll use After Effects to create projects mixing video, Photoshop, Illustrator, 2D and 3D compositing and a wide selection of creative effects. And you’ll learn how to output your movies to create stunning animations and composites for TV, film, video, DVD and the web.
Each student will complete a short personal project and is encouraged to bring video, graphics, still photos or 3D animations to integrate into their After Effects projects.

Who Should Attend
Anyone with an interest in motion graphics, animation and visual effects using Adobe After Effects.
Certification & Credit Offered
This course is part of a DMA Certification in Video Production and also qualifies for Stanford University Continuing Studies credit. Learn more.
Prerequisites
Basic experience using a Macintosh or Windows-based PC.
