Course Description

In this course, students will apply all of the technical skills gained in the first three levels of Maya training to create a complete 30-60 second animated short. The process will include narratives, storyboards, animation animatics, blocking passes and output. You’ll create custom characters rigged to interact with their environments and ready to tell a story. The project will be output in a format ready to write to DVD. Advanced students may have projects ready to submit to the animation festival circuit.

Maya Training: 3D Character Modeling & Animation with Maya IV

Who Should Attend

Anyone who as learned the fundamentals of Maya and who wants a complete command of the animation process, from design through rendering.

Certification & Credit Offered

This course is part of a DMA Certification in Maya and also qualifies for Stanford University Continuing Studies credit. Learn more.

Prerequisites

Maya I and Maya II and Maya III or equivalent experience.
