Course Overview

Adobe Acrobat and InDesign training. Understand how InDesign CS3 and Adobe Acrobat 8 work together to produce intelligent multimedia digital documents as well as high quality print-ready files. Digital publishing with an InDesign-PDF workflow allows efficient management of time to maximize publishing efforts for all types of projects.

This course will teach you the concepts and skills needed to effectively design and publish your documents using Adobe InDesign CS3 and Adobe Acrobat 8.

Learn how to convert existing documents, work with graphics, type, paragraph styles, layers and document settings to produce effective digital content that you can re-purpose in a variety of formats. Participants will work with a variety of templates and examples as well as their own material to create a final project.

Prerequisites

All students who have an interest in Adobe InDesign and Adobe Acrobat are encouraged to register for this course. However, we require that all students have at least basic experience using a Macintosh (OS X preferred) or Windows based PC.
