Jump into the fascinating world of 3D game design with 3ds max and the Unreal 3 game engine
This immersive course will lead you through the process of designing and creating an original game setting using 3ds Max. You’ll learn practical approaches to level map design, previsualization, 3D conceptualization/modeling and export/import from the asset creation tool (3ds Max) into the Unreal 3 game engine.
During the week you'll delve into high-quality reference selection, creative brainstorming, simple drawing and mapping techniques, modeling and texture mapping. You’ll learn modeling techniques for a wide variety of asset types, such as organic objects, architecture, creature, humans, pickup items and vehicle design. By the end of the week you’ll have a concept piece completed and ready for loading into the game engine.
