DMA Game Design Program Expanded for Summer 2006
In summer 2004, DMA partnered with Discreet to offer a series of game design summer computer camps aimed at teens wanting a professional yet fun experience. The summer camps sold out and were a huge success!
Responding to overwhelming demand, in 2005 DMA added a game design programming camp and a 3-week advanced game design camp. All game design camps featured Discreet’s award-winning 3ds max, the best-selling game creation software on the market, used to create games for both the PC and game consoles like the Sony PlayStation® 2, Nintendo® GameCube and Microsoft® Xbox.
For summer 2006, DMA has expanded their game design training for teens with the addition of Programming for Game Design II and Game Modding. Teens may also participate in the professional level Maya certification program. Teens can take a series of four Maya courses (Maya I, Maya II, Maya III and Maya IV) to gain certification.
Sign up early, these popular computer camps will sell out!
