DMA Instructor Mike Roberts

Mike Roberts pursued a Bachelors Degree in Computer Graphics in 1996, after being inspired by the 3d animation of Toy Story and Jurassic Park. While attending school he studied both modeling and animation. The modeling stuck, and he has been a character modeler ever since.

After working in the game industry for a year, he decided to give teaching a shot. He was a Teachers Assistant during his school years and discovered that teaching was his calling.

In 2001, he became a part time teacher and freelance 3d modeler. He is well versed in the modeling tool sets of multiple programs including: Maya, XSI, Max, and Silo.

During his free time, Mike pursues his own artistic interests- primarily, modeling and texturing characters and creatures.
