Keith English ventured into animation after years of industrial design experience, while working on a project for Reebok. He was using 3D modeling applications and became inspired by the client’s question, “But can you make it move for us?” With that, Keith was officially bitten by the animation bug.
Keith’s animation has added magic to movie and TV projects for high-profile clients such as the Walt Disney Company, Cartoon Network, Pepsi, Turner Broadcasting and TLC, as well as many industrial clients. He is currently developing a character-animation feature project while providing effects for a series of twelve IMAX films. Keith also continues to work on numerous TV advertising projects for some of Hollywood’s top effects houses.
He wrote the initial Softimage-to-Maya tutorials for Alias, and has beta-tested many current 3D animation applications. A dynamic Maya teacher, Keith’s instruction demonstrates his absolute passion for the vibrant and evolving world of animation.
