Instructor: George Mauro

DMA Instructor Audrey Blumeneau

George Mauro has been in the multimedia/television biz for over 30 years, primarily as an editor/director. George has cut and/or directed countless industrial training videos, PM Magazine shows, news, TV commercials, etc. By trade and training George is a CMX editor who jumped on the non-linear bandwagon in late 80′s to ride the high tech wave into the future. Before moving to California, George worked as an editor for Avid Technology which
made it possible for him to sneek into Pixar to help them sell the idea of ‘Toy Story’ to Disney. It’s all been downhill since.

George is a certified Apple Instructor for all levels of FCP, DVDSP, Motion and STP. He dabbles with music, acting and building furniture from time to time.
